Abstract

O presente artigo examina de forma geral o lugar e a importância da figura de Sócrates nos Ensaios de Montaigne. Tal se faz, porém, principalmente através da consideração da questão ética, tomando como base a relação entre pensamento, acção e comunicação - nó conceituai que liga as filosofias montaigniana e socrática na busca do saber viver. /// The present article aims at investigating the place and the importance of the figure of Socrates in Montaigne's Essays. The author analyses the relation between thinking, acting and communication as the connection upon which the ethical problem about the art of living is based.
