Seven volumes written in German by Heidegger (and a few pages of editors and translator notes). Five volumes of English translations. The combined total of indexed words adds up to 60,309 words. This is an index to Heidegger’s writing in the middle period. Starting with Basic questions of philosophy: selected "problems" of "logic" lectures given at the University of Freiburg in 1937–1938. These lectures were given during the time he was working on his second major project after Being and Time (1927); namely, his Contributions to Philosophy: (From Enowning) (1936-1940) and also translated as Contributions to Philosophy (of the Event). Short title in German is simply, Beiträge (GA 65). Note with Heidegger it is extremely problematic to call his later writing projects: “books” or “Hauptwerk”. He explicit deny this attempt.
