Back to Chuanshan: A Potential Development Direction for Modern Neo-Confucianism-A Commentary on Lin, An Wu's Research on Chuanshan

Abstract

In Chuanshan studies, the Lin An-wu in modern Neo-Confucianism is a rather special character. He was the first comprehensive Wang Chuan certainly "heaven and earth, and build" philosophy of architecture and the modern Neo-Confucianism Chuanshan future development of linkages from the future of modern Neo-Confucian scholars. An-Wu Lin Chuan-shan establish from a "human history, philosophy," and emphasized that "the historical society as a whole" and "human nature" of the dialectical interaction. And proposed future development of Confucianism should be a "critique of Neo-Confucianism" attitude, in the Mou Confucianism conduct a comprehensive anti-province basis, with the ability to learn Chuanshan philosophy, intellectual resources, and intermediation of other schools of thought, to go from Mou , Tang Chun-back bear ten force, and finally back to Wang Chuan-shan Road. An-Wu Lin Chuan-shan study of modern Neo-Confucianism In order that future development may develop a positive way forward. Lin Anwu is a special figure in modern Neo-Confucianism School in researching Wang Chuanshan. He is the first modern Neo-Confucianist to affirm all-sidedly Wang's frame of the co-establishment of the principle of Qian and Kun, and to relate the development of modern Neo-Confucianism to Wang's theory. He establishes a system of Chuanshan humanist historical philosophy, which emphasizes the interaction between humanity and history. He puts forward the development of New-Confucianism: It should be based on an overall reflection on Mouzongsan's philosophy, a deep absorption of Wang's philosophy and a critical attitude towards Mouzongsan's philosophy. It should follow the order of Mou Zongsan, then Tang Junyi and Xiong Shili, finally back to Wang Chuanshan. To some extent, Wang's theory creates a potential development direction for modern Neo -Confucianism
