On the Rise and Importance of Bioethics

Abstract

The establishment of bioethics was determined by the necessity of profound examination of the problems of life, of its creation and the possibility to influence it in its various stages with the help of new technologies. There are many interpretations of the notion of bioethics and its content is also defined differently. The latter then determines the objective of bioethics. The paper analyzes the reasons of the rise of bioethics and gives an interpretation of this concept. It underlines the importance of contemporary bioethical studies and indicates the most burning issues, which are being discussed at present or are to be resolved in next future. In conclusion it pays attention to different methods and variety of approaches to the bioethical problems.
