Abstract

The series reprints in facsimile articles selected from books and journals on the basis of their intellectual quality and their long- term significance for the study of the thinker at hand. Biographical, bibliographical, and textual pieces have been generally excluded to make room for interpretive work. Most selections are in English. A total of 54 articles are reproduced in the two volumes on Aristotle, the earliest published in 1880, the most recent in 1994. Each volume includes a name index.
