Abstract

O presente artigo, depois de um exame sintético de alguns textos de Emmanuel Levinas acerca da relação entre Judaísmo e Filosofia, procura evidenciar de que forma o encontro entre estas duas estruturas culturais pode acontecer e de como o mesmo só ganha sentido pleno na medida em que ele se desenhar em função de um assumir concreto da nossa comum responsabilidade pela vida. /// The present article, starting with a brief examination of a few texts of Emmanuel Levinas on the relationship between Judaism and Philosophy, aims at a clarification of the form in which the encounter between these two cultural structures can take place and at the same time of how this encounter gains its full meaning only in the measure in which it takes the form of a concrete assumption of our common responsibility for life
