Abstract

One of the liveliest debates within contemporary Christian theology concerns how the Bible should be interpreted and what role this interpretation ought to play in the formulation of theological proposals. Cunningham provides a helpful way of dealing with this situation, appealing to Karl Barth's interpretation of a cluster of New Testament predestination texts that reveal his distinctive doctrinal proposals and exegetical insights.
