On the Modes of Poetry in the Fictions during Tang Dynasty

Abstract

Chinese text of the novel phenomenon of carrying a lot of poetry, fiction to poetry can be called "acceptable." Chinese poetry, the novel received There are three main ways: writing poetry, fiction author or character, references to other people's poetry into the novel, describing the same object of fiction and poetry with each other. Characteristics of these three methods and the role of different, but together they confirmed the Chinese novel and the inextricable link between poetry, the novel the creation, spread and different style of intermediation has important practical significance. There were various poetry in fictions during Tang dynasty. The fictions in Tang dynasty "adopted" poetry by three modes: poems composed by the authors or the figures; poems borrowed from others; poems and fictions on the same subject, which proved the close relationships between the poem and fiction during Tang dynasty. It is important and significant for the creation and spread of fictions and poems, and accommodation among various literary styles
