Abstract

Since life is closely related with ecological problems, in-depth understanding of ancient and modern environmental thinking has become "life philosophy" course in the important issue. So, from Seeger's ecological wisdom which we can find a save environment for economic nature of ethical principles and qualities it? In this paper, first briefly and Western schools of environmental thought; Secondly, sorting out the ecological wisdom of people in Seeger's environmental ethics; Finally, sum up the Chinese sages are most concerned about environmental quality, environmental practices for the people expect the theoretical basis of the best thin cotton force. Ecological problem is closely related with our life, so to understand deeply the environmental thoughts of ancient Chinese philosophers and modern western philosophers has become a very important topic in the subject of Philosophy of Life. So are we able to find the environmental ethics and their environmental consciousness to save the Nature from Chinese and western ecological wisdom? Therefore, firstly, the article tries to identify the schools of Chinese and western environmental thoughts. Secondly, it finds out environmental ethics from Chinese and western ecological wisdom. Finally, it induces environmental consciousness of chinese sages, and hopefully tries to do my best for the theoretical foudations of environmental practice in Taiwan
