Abstract

Technical Novel by Andrei Platonovich Platonov shows the process of organizing and constructing a technological utopia. Technological utopianism, according to Howard P. Segal, is defined as "the use of hardware and of knowledge to create and preserve an intendedly perfect society."1 Segal emphasizes that the extent to which technology shapes a society's values, institutions, techniques, and way of life is what distinguishes a technological society from previous societies.
