Abstract

The paper analyses the dual aspect of the imagination as a dimension of political life. Political imagination has two functions: the idealization and the enchantment of the reality. After giving account of the types of deformation of the two aspects of imaginary that leads to politically dangerous or destructive forms, i.e. to fractures of the imaginary, the paper investigates the image of the global solidarity
