Abstract

On the theoretical contemporary scenery, according to the author, Philosophy of Interculturality appears as a new possible attempt to join universalism and particularism – that is the need for a moral role and the richness of historical and cultural differences –, for its recalling the contextuality of knowledges. Looking at the works of Piovani and Jullien, the author opposes to the staticity of the universal and universality, the dynamics of the concepts of “universalizing” and “universalization” that, invoking the idea of process, keep a content that is refractory to every fixed univocity, and more accordant with the intercultural dialogue
