Abstract

Cet article se propose de manifester un aspect « critique » de la pensée de Descartes en développant l'argument suivant: la réponse fournie par Descartes aux problèmes de la grandeur du monde et du nombre de ses parties anticipe sur la solution kantienne des deux premières antinomies de la raison pure. The object of this article is to show a critical side of Descartes' philosophy by elaborating upon the following argument: the answer given by Descartes to the problems linked to the size of the world and the number of its components anticipates Kant's solution of the first two antinomies of pure reason
