Religion and Science in Taiwan: Rethinking the Connection

Abstract

Religion and science in order to explore the relationship between contemporary Taiwan, this article made ​​reference to the author, Professor of Taiwan's experience of religion and science courses; more traditional Chinese religious history information; and science in Chinese history. This article also from different angles, discussed China and Taiwan's understanding of science and religion. I believe that the link between science and religion, is the pursuit of healthy, successful, interpersonal harmony and the Heaven of the individual rather than the majority of the Buddhist religion in China is clearly not with the "creationist." In short, I believe that the former is not unique to China or Taiwan, and our understanding of local culture, due to considerations of other cultures even more rich
