The idea of the will implies agency and choice between possible actions. It also implies a kind of determination to carry out an action once it has been chosen; a posi-tive drive or desire to accomplish an action. The saying “Where there'sa will there'sa way” expresses this notion as a piece of folk wisdom. These are pragmatically and experientially informed dimensions of the idea.
