I am Associate professor of philosophy at Umeå university, Sweden, since July 2012. I direct our B.A. program in Philosophy and Society. I research, teach and supervise in moral philosophy and political philosophy. Most of my research over time is related to paternalism one way or other. However, I also write on family ethics, public health ethics and population axiology. I am currently involved in two research projects: one on information about hereditary cancer to at-risk relatives, one on artificial intelligence and self-determination. Here at Phil Papers, I edit the category Paternalism and some sub categories.
