  1. Conséquentialisme et recours collectif au raisonnement éthique: Remarques sur la valeur de la vie, sur la dignité et sur l'approche de la mise en débat chez J. Glover.Emmanuel Bernard Picavet - 2019 - Canadian Journal of Bioethics/Revue canadienne de bioéthique 2 (1):57-67.
Starting from a reading of Jonathan Glover's Causing Death and Saving Lives, the article addresses the general assumptions involved in conceptions of the dignity of life. Compatibility with a consequentialist point of view makes it possible to clarify the meaning given to thresholds in the intrapersonal comparisons between states of the world. These themes are then discussed within the perspective of dialogue related to the collective assessment of practical guidelines.
