  1. Resonant Epochs_ Testing Earth–Moon Phase Coupling at the Eocene–Oligocene Boundary.Devin Bostick - manuscript
This paper proposes a falsifiable, systems-level model of Earth–Moon phase coupling during the Eocene–Oligocene boundary (~33–29 MYA), reframing lunar volcanism and terrestrial extinction not as separate events, but as manifestations of structured resonance. Using the CODES (Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems) framework, we introduce the concept of Coherent Phase Resonance (CPR)—periodic intervals during which planetary systems enter phase-locked states, generating synchronized geophysical and biospheric reorganizations. We outline a four-domain coherence scoring protocol and propose an experiment using DIMPLE lunar samples and (...)

Plato’s Timaeus has been a source of inspiration and debate since its emergence in the fourth century BCE. Over two millennia, this dialogue has uniquely withstood the test of time, with its conceptual richness ensuring adaptability to vastly different eras and cultural contexts. Notably, the Timaeus has revealed that some of our scientific achievements, particularly in cosmology, trace their conceptual roots back to its pages. The “likely myth” (eikôs mûthos) narrated by its titular character has stimulated thought across ancient, medieval, (...)

  3. Phase-Locked Starbirth_ Observational Evidence of Structured Resonance in Stellar Formation.Devin Bostick - manuscript
Abstract: -/- NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope captured the formation of a star with unprecedented clarity, revealing coherent jet structures, disk symmetry, and recursive outflow geometries. Traditional models explain these features through stochastic accretion and magnetohydrodynamics. This paper proposes a new interpretation via the CODES framework (Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems), asserting that star formation is not a probabilistic collapse, but a deterministic phase-lock event governed by chirality, prime harmonic resonance, and structured coherence fields. -/- We deconstruct JWST imagery through (...)

  4. The Periodic Table of Elemental Energy_ Structured Resonance in Cosmic Condensates.Devin Bostick - manuscript
Abstract Traditional physics treats energy as a continuous field without intrinsic quantization beyond particle interactions. However, under the Chirality of Dynamic Emergent Systems (CODES) framework, energy itself exhibits structured resonance periodicity, forming a predictable periodic table of energy condensates—analogous to the atomic periodic table in material condensates. This paper proposes that: • Energy condenses in structured, phase-locked states, forming distinct “elemental energies” similar to chemical elements in matter. • Black holes, cosmic inflation fields, and quantum coherence states act as phase-locking (...)

  5. Beyond the Bekenstein Bound_ Prime-Driven Structured Resonance as the Fundamental Ordering Principle of Information and Entropy.Devin Bostick - manuscript
Abstract -/- The Bekenstein Bound proposed that the maximum information content of a finite region of space is determined by its surface area, not its volume, leading to the holographic principle. This shift reframed information as the fundamental constraint on physical systems rather than matter or energy. It suggested that entropy, rather than being an inherent measure of disorder, is a function of informational constraints at the boundaries of a system. However, existing models that incorporate this bound still rely on (...)

At the commencement of the universe and in the deep past of the observable realm, the first three minutes is a topic both scientifically challenging and philosophically intriguing. While the universe is believed to have undergone drastic changes over this short period, scientists seem to have essential difficulties with gaining observational evidence and conceiving physics in high-energy conditions. This essay delves into philosophical issues concerning evidence, inference, methodology, and the standard for legitimate scientific knowledge about the early universe. Focusing on (...)

The causal principle of the Kalām cosmological argument—Everything that begins to exist has a cause—remains controversial. One common objection is that while the principle may apply to things within the universe, it does not apply to the universe itself. Here, I argue that if the universe began uncaused, then there is an extremely high probability that the universe began just moments ago with the appearance of age. However, I further argue that the general agreement of independent estimates for the universe’s (...)

It is commonly assumed that low-mass primordial black holes cannot constitute a significant fraction of the dark matter in our universe due to their predicted short lifetimes from the conventional Hawking radiation and evaporation process. Assuming physical black holes are nonsingular--likely due to quantum gravity or other high-energy physics--we demonstrate that a large class of nonsingular black holes have finite evaporation temperatures. This can lead to slowly evaporating low-mass black holes or to remnant mass states that circumvent traditional evaporation constraints. (...)

If an asymmetry in time does not arise from the fundamental dynamical laws of physics, it may be found in special boundary conditions. The argument normally goes that since thermodynamic entropy in the past is lower than in the future according to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, then tracing this back to the time around the Big Bang means the universe must have started off in a state of very low thermodynamic entropy: the Thermodynamic Past Hypothesis.
