Nowadays the necessity of introducing effective constituents of ethical and humanitarian comprehension of innovations to science, especially in the field of biomedicine, is becoming increasingly apparent. In this regard, it is of particular interest to compare the opinions of student-age youth and the experts - well-known Russian scientists on the use of new converging technologies and their impact on an individual and society.

The article deals with the issues, related to the existence of such a phenomenon of modern times as football fanaticism. The author analyzes the features of sports rooting, in general, and football fanaticism, in particular. The classification of football fans was proposed, and their main characteristics were described. Social markers, having an impact on the fan’s life and the existence of the fan group, were determined in the context of negative identity.

This is an extended version of the interview of Prof. A.D. Maidansky given to Em. Prof. V. Oittinen for Monthly Review journal. The interview was dedicated to the works of the Soviet philosopher Evald Ilyenkov which have recently received increasing international attention. The interview sheds light on the reasons for such an interest and outlines the key focus topics of both Ilyenkov’s philosophy and his Cultural-Historical Psychology works.

In my review, I will focus on the activist interpretation of Hegel’s Logic in Andy Blunden’s book Hegel for Social Movements. Furthermore, the meaning of Phenomenology of Spirit for the historical-cultural psychology will be discussed in the review. And finally, I will dwell on the problem of initial "germ cell" of scientific theory, as this problem is covered by Hegel and reconsidered in the reviewed book.

The idea that the concept of 'violence' was part and is still viewed as part of a broad philosophical category may seem strange. However, the problem is resolved by referring to the concept of 'force,' which is lost in modern philosophy. A review of the academic edition of the Collected Works of the outstanding Russian philosopher and philologist M.M. Bakhtin. For sixteen years, the research team led by S. Bocharov somehow almost unnoticed to the scientific community, read, rechecked, commented and republished all the texts of Bakhtin. There were six volumes in seven voluminous books, with a huge scientific apparatus.

Marxism started with a revolt against its nurse - Hegel’s philosophy. In 1845 in Brussels, as Marx remembered, he and Engels decided to ‘settle accounts with our erstwhile philosophical conscience ’.J The radical error of Hegelianism consists in the belief that ideas rule over the world, and the whole history of mankind is some ‘other-being’ of pure ideas. Implicit contradictions of modern concepts of human dignity hinder the implementation of the principle of dignity as a regulator of social practice. We need a new theory of dignity, which is expected to replace the descriptive approach and aims to synthesize the idea and images of human dignity into a single value-rational and emotional complex supported by the mechanism of self-consciousness of the individual and the human community, and by the reflection of dignity.

The article is picking up new methodological approaches to the study of the Cosmos and the understanding of the place of a human being in the Universe. This article is devoted to the general heritage of Themistius, the orator, philosopher, and rhetorician who worked in Constantinople in the second half of the fourth century. All previous works have considered only his philosophical ideas. The author pays special attention to Themistius’s orations, which are divided into political and private.

The postmodernism merit consists that it doesn't leave from the analysis of this sort of problems, as unworthy attention of the professional philosopher. The human culture isn't reduced only to the certain refined samples which admits any group of people.
